Sanitech’s Gauteng branch is on the move
From the 1st of January 2009. Sanitech’s office, which will combine the Toilet Hire and the Hygiene divisions will be situated at 9 Lakeveiw Business park, Yaldwyn ave , Boksburg.

The location was selected due to its proximity to the other WACO companies namely Formscaff, SGB-Cape and Abacus as well as providing a suitable image for Sanitech, which is consistent with the transformation of the Sanitech brand as a whole.

Sanitech’s Head Office will still be based in Durban where Nico Van Der Merwe (Finance Director) and Ilyas Ganey (Operations Director) will operate from.

Hanlie Jamneck (Managing Director), Robert Erasmus (Business Development Director ) and Cecelia Burnett (Hygiene Division Director) will operate from the new Jet Park premises.

Sanitech’s Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative in
KlipTown Soweto
Sanitech in conjunction with local community leaders distributed 720 food hampers to the Kliptown community in Soweto on the 19th of December 2008. 10 staff members from Sanitech’s Gauteng branch were involved on the day to distribute the food hampers. Kliptown was selected for this initiative as Sanitech has been involved in providing frequently serviced temporary sanitation to the area and felt that it would be a fitting way to give something back to the community.

in the Community
Chest Twilight Team Run 2008 on the 2nd of December by entering 7 teams totally 42 individuals, consisting of staff, customers and suppliers. Sanitech was also chosen to provide and service the portable sanitation for the approximately 20 000 participants, which consisted of VIP trailer units and fully imported top quality 'maxim' units. This annual event that attracts individuals and companies from all walks of life and consists of a 5km walk through the streets of Cape Town followed by festivities in a secure area providing a great opportunity for teambuilding and networking.

SGB-Cape KZN region golf day
Sanitech's new VIP trailers were on show and available for use at the SGB-Cape KZN region golf day in Durban on the 21st October 2008. These state of the art trailers are completely self sufficient due to the combination of solar and battery technology and are ideal for upmarket outdoor events and areas where no sanitation facilities are available.

Our Cape Town Hygiene branch received an award
November 2008 : Sanitech Hygiene win supplier of the year from PPC Cement. Cement Giant awarded Sanitech Hygiene an Award for the best supplier in the meduim-large enterprise category at an awards ceremony in Cape Town on the 6th November 2008.

Secunda branch
Secunda branch due to its unprecedented growth over the past few years have recently re-located to new premises situated at Erasmith Street, Secunda.


Pietermaritzburg Branch
Pietermaritzburg have opened a fully functional depot situated at Unit no. 6, 19 Halstead Road, Mkondeni Pietermaritzburg. Richard is currently contactable on 083 236 1277
